Lash Enhancing Serum
Latisse is a Health Canada approved in-home treatment which has been proven to thicken and grow eyelashes over a period of several weeks. In one study, almost 80% of those who used the solution as prescribed by a physician, reported new lash growth over a 16 week period. Many of our staff and longtime clients swear by the treatment and have had amazing results themselves!
The medical ingredient in the solution is the only substance approved by Health Canada that has been proven to encourage the growth of new lashes that are thicker, fuller, and darker than lashes grown without it. The medical ingredients are said to work by promoting the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways: first, by increasing the length of this phase, and second, by increasing the number of hairs in this growth phase.
Treatment
The process is very quick and easy and involves a daily application of the solution. The Latisse kit comes with special applicators that allow the user to apply one drop of the solution to the applicator brush and moisten the upper eyelids only. The solution is applied one drop at a time, and a new applicator is used for each eye. It is critical to apply the solution once a day to ensure adequate results. While individual results may vary, users of the solution can expect to experience some results in approximately eight weeks, with significant results in 16 weeks. Maintenance is recommended to ensure effects remain.
Special Considerations: Daily application of Latisse causes no discomfort or downtime. Patients with glaucoma or using glaucoma medicine should not use Latisse eyelash enhancement.
